Five miles west of Rapid City off Hwy. 44 on Chapel Lane. This unique "Stavkirke", built in 1969, is an exact replica of the famous 840-year-old Borgund Church in Norway. Its intricate wood carvings, strange dragon heads and ingenious pegged construction make it a place of unusual interest. Vesper (evening) services from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Donations appreciated.
